Browser extension
The SlingAgent browser extension (Chrome & Edge) lets you send the page you're looking at — or any link — straight into SlingAgent's Add link form, already filled in. It never stores your password or any tokens; SlingAgent handles sign-in in your browser as usual.
What it does
- Toolbar button — click the SlingAgent icon to see the current page, then Promote this link to open it in SlingAgent, pre-filled.
- Right-click menu — right-click a page or a link and choose Promote … with SlingAgent.
- Keyboard shortcut — press Alt+Shift+S to promote the current tab.
- Smart capture — the extension reads the page's real title and description (from its meta tags) and fills them in for you. This works even on sites SlingAgent can't fetch from its own servers, so your links arrive pre-enriched.
One-click add (API token)
By default, clicking Promote opens SlingAgent's Add-link form pre-filled. If you'd rather add the link instantly (no new tab), create a personal token:
- Go to Settings → API tokens and Create token. Copy it (shown once).
- In the extension's Options, paste it into API token and save.
Now the popup shows your plan and promos-left, and Promote adds the link straight to your account. Treat the token like a password; revoke it any time on the same settings page.
Installing
The extension is live on the Chrome Web Store:
- Open the SlingAgent — Promote This listing.
- Click Add to Chrome (it works in Microsoft Edge too — Edge installs Chrome Web Store extensions directly).
- Pin the SlingAgent icon and click it on any page.
The extension defaults to slingagent.com; you can point it elsewhere in its Options if you're testing.
