Email notifications
SlingAgent sends four kinds of email, each with its own switch under Settings → Notifications. Everything is timed to your local hour — set it once and every scheduled email follows it.
Performance digest
A recap of your promotion: clicks and unique visitors with the change vs. the previous period, posts published, your top link, best platform and best-performing post, the time of day your clicks peaked, your biggest mover, anything that needs attention, and a recommended next step or two.
Pick the cadence that fits how you work:
- Weekly — a Monday recap. The default, and the right choice for most people.
- Daily — only worth it if you post every day and watch the numbers. On a quieter account the daily swings are noise.
- Monthly — the widest view, and the only one that includes your logged earnings and best-earning link.
- Off — no recaps.
We only send a digest when you have at least one link — no empty emails.
Alerts
The one to leave on. When something is actively costing you clicks, SlingAgent emails you within a couple of hours instead of letting you find out in the next digest:
- Posts that failed to publish — usually an expired connection, which quietly stops everything on that platform.
- Links pointing at a dead page — every click on one is a lost commission.
- A queue that has run dry — auto links with nothing scheduled.
- A sudden drop in clicks, together with the cause we can correlate it to.
Everything currently wrong arrives as one email, at most once a day, and only when the situation has actually changed since the last one.
Daily queue preview
Each morning, a list of the posts going out that day — platform, time, and the opening line of each — with a link to edit or skip any of them before it goes live. Off by default; turn it on if you want to see what autopilot is about to do. It's only sent on days when something is actually scheduled.
Milestones
The occasional note when your best link passes a round number of clicks, and when your account passes one. Including your very first tracked click.
Unsubscribing
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe in the footer that turns off just that kind — unsubscribing from milestones won't stop your alerts. Account and billing email isn't affected by any of these settings.
