Hashtag Groups

Most people reuse the same handful of hashtags over and over — one set for a product, another for a topic, another for a client. Hashtag Groups let you save those sets by name and drop a whole set into a post with one click.

Manage them under Settings → Hashtag Groups.

Building a group

  1. Create new, then give the group a name that tells you what it's for ("Azure AI Tags", "Career", "Book launch").
  2. Add the hashtags, separated by a space or comma. The # is optional — type #AzureOpenAI #AI or AzureOpenAI, AI, whichever you prefer.
  3. Save. Edit or delete a group any time from the same page.

Groups only ever change when you change them. Nothing is added behind your back, so a set you've tuned stays exactly as you left it.

Using a group while drafting

Your groups appear wherever you're writing hashtags:

  • Share once — under the compose box. Click a group and its tags drop into the post, separated from your copy by a blank line. In Custom per platform mode, each network has its own row.
  • Promos — open a promo, hit Edit, and your groups sit under the hashtag field.

Tags that are already in the post are skipped rather than duplicated, and any that would push you past the network's character limit are left out.

Saving suggestions into a group

When SlingAgent suggests hashtags (Pro and Unlimited), you can keep the good ones: click Save to group and pick an existing group or type a new name.

  • If you've already ticked some suggestions, only those are saved.
  • Saving into an existing group merges — the tags are added to what's there, and saving the same set twice does nothing rather than creating duplicates.

The same Save to group control sits under a promo's hashtag field, so a set the AI came up with for one promo becomes reusable everywhere.

Creating and editing groups by hand works on every plan — Free just keeps a smaller shelf. (AI suggestions are a Pro feature; your own groups are not.)
