Tracking & analytics

Tracking links

Every promo gets a branded short link (like slingagent.com/go/ab3d9xz). When someone clicks it, SlingAgent records the click and redirects them to your destination with UTM parameters attached, so your own analytics can attribute the visit too.

We never store raw IP addresses — only a salted hash used for basic de-duplication.

The analytics dashboard

The Analytics page shows, within your plan's history window:

  • Total clicks, active days, and links with clicks
  • Clicks per day (a bar per day over the recent window)
  • Clicks by platform
  • Your top links

Each link's detail page also shows its own promo, posted, and click totals — plus a clicks-by-platform breakdown, so you can see which channels are driving traffic without scrolling through every promo.

Link in bio

Turn on your link-in-bio page (from Link in bio settings) to get one public page — slingagent.com/u/yourname — that lists all your links. Drop the URL in your Instagram, TikTok, or X bio. Every tap routes through a tracking link, so clicks from your bio count in analytics just like any other post. Pick a URL name, add a display name and short bio, and uncheck any individual link (in its settings) you'd rather keep off the page.

Note: SlingAgent tracks clicks to your destination. It cannot see sales or commissions on the destination's side (e.g. Amazon does not report per-link conversions), so analytics reflect engagement, not revenue.
